Anamosa is the best vet clinic you will find. I've taken my three fur babies to them for 6+ years now. The staff are all incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and you cannot beat their prices. My sister took her dog to this clinic. The initial work up was inconclusive. They gave options for different tests they wanted to do; blood work, x-rays, etc. My sister on a tight budget. So she asked which could be most helpful. They seemed to be irritated by all of her questions and her ability to need everything explained. Even though she just wanted to understand. Then my sister asked what happens if none of the tests produce any results? She was told, “I don’t know, I don’t have a crystal ball!”, in a very rude, snotty, attitude. She seemed fed up with my sister and her dog so they gave her antibiotics and sent her home. Without ever giving her a clear answer to what was wrong with her dog.
I was referred here three years ago by about 20 other happy customers, and am glad I listened to them. The drive from SW CR is completely worth it, these people have a passion for helping animals and trying to keep it as affordable as possible. Best service and price around. Tried a few vets in CR first and none can compare. If you're on the fence about giving them a try, take the leap and you will be pleasantly surprised at the outstanding work they do!
