Overlook trail is very steep but if you take your time you can do just fine. Uphill into the woods the path isn't cleary marked.
There are some really cool caves you can go into, including Horse Thief Cave, which has a huge opening and a beautiful view. There was a small dam in the stream that was beautiful to sit by. I really enjoyed this park. The road we walked on was nicely paved, but included some steep hills. The path I would not take a stroller on, but was great for walking.
Great trails. Saw no litter and no trees blocking the paths. Great job! Loved it. I'll be back.
Very nice park although small. The road around the cliffs was nice to walk around and there are a couple caves and some stone steps. You can fish although that's not my thing. We camped in a tent and it was enjoyable.
Absolutely beautiful. The natural beauty of the rock formations are breathtaking. Trails great for cardio
Started Prairie Trail at the Hale Bridge access point. Nice walk along the Wapsi with the exception of cars along the road across the river and roaring semi-trucks from 151 in the distance. Mowed paths are pretty well maintained and easy to navigate. BUT Pine Trail is where it's at. Loved it! A nice walk through the woods. Dutch Creek is a short trail but you get some nice close ups. Point of interest is marked on the wrong side of the creek on the map. Horse Thief trail is pretty neat. Lots to see there. Do some exploring and be sure to follow it until the end.
Great little state park with a country club that serves dinner on Friday night that is open to the public.
